About the Role
This is a rewarding opportunity to take full accountability for the day-to-day operations of a well-established aged care facility, ensuring the delivery of high-quality resident care and overall operational excellence.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all aspects of daily operations, ensuring strong resident relations and compliance with internal policies and aged care standards
  • Driving exceptional operational performance aligned with Aged Care Quality Standards and organisational goals
  • Ensuring all documentation, including care plans and other clinical programs, is completed accurately and on time
  • Identifying workforce needs, managing recruitment, and supporting staff development through ongoing performance reviews
  • Leading, mentoring, and supporting a dedicated team of employees and volunteers to continually enhance the quality of care
To be successful, you will have:
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role within aged care, with a strong passion for person-centred care
  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Strong commercial acumen, including experience managing budgets and financial operations
  • Solid understanding of AN-ACC funding model, aged care legislation, and accreditation requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead continuous improvement initiatives and manage change effectively
  • Proficiency in using clinical management systems and HR information systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect empathetically across diverse communities
  • A current Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Postgraduate qualifications in management, nursing, or a related field (highly regarded)
